Title: Saw a GS!
Post by: scratch on September 07, 2006, 09:48:47 AM
I had a "Spotted a GS!" moment yesterday; on my commute home on 237 in San Jose, between McCarthy Ranch, Milpitas and Lawrence Expwy, Sunnyvale.  Looked like a black '90, but it was definitely black.  I was on the purple GS.  You split past me from the commute lane on the right.  :thumb:

I saw one on Santa Monica Blvd last week. It was a 2006F blue exactly like mine and I was in my car. For a second I thought "Holy crap, I hope that guy didn't just steal my bike." But I got home and everything was ok.

Here in the UK they seem to be a bit more common.

I have a 94.
At work I regularly see a white 89,
and a red 99,
and a red 03 F model0.

I also pass 2 parked up on my way into town and pass 1 guy (i think, no breasticles) most mornings on a blue GS.

Except for the red 03 they are all E models with some sort of nose fairing.
(except when I take mine off cos I really prefer the full naked look)

GS's regularly buzz through campus here.  Very common college kid/female bike.  Mine's still the mostest badassest of them all.

Yup, a female bike.  And it "buzzes" through campus.  Sorry guys.

It's odd but I don't remember seeing any GS's around the area I live at, except for 1 and the guy was sitting on the tank crossing a major intersecton at the end of rush hour.  And I haven't seen him sense then
Area I live in is mostly cruisers I'd say about 65% to 35% sportbikes and 10% scooters.

When you head to southeast Atlanta you will see almost 100% busa's.

Wow, blue05twin, I didn't know your neighborhood had 110% bikes.  :)

Whereabouts in ATL do you live?  A friend of mine now lives in Decatur, but has an SV.

3 am and I just got done doing some work on the GSXR   really should double check my post.  I live in Duluth, not to far from Decatur about 30 maybe 45 min depending on which part of Decatur your friend lives in.
