So yesterday was my dads 55th birthday and I wanted to get him something cool but I'm dead broke so I had to get creative. Since I moved home my dad has been talking more and more about wanting to get a bike, last Sunday I let him take the GS for a ride and he had a huge smile on his face when he got back. He rode a 350cc yamaha back in college, then got married well you kno the story.... I spent all Friday afternoon doing a oil change, waxing the GS up ect. When he got home from work he asked if I was taking the GS to see my g/f this weekend and got this kinda sad look on his face when I told him I was. So I decided to let him have the GS all weekend. I got him a card and taped a key in it and told him have fun this weekend. I'm SO the favorite kid right now. My mom was having some girly get together Today so I kno my dad wanted out of the house. Hopefully the GS will inspire him to get back into riding.

At dinner my mom started playing that joke, "what!?! your giving him your bike! what a great son you are..." I just rolled my eyes, I'm not THAT great of a kid.
