Hi all,
I switched from summer mesh to fall textile recently. My new (to me) Joe Rocket Ballistic jacket adds quite a bit of width to my already wide shoulders. As a result, I can't see out of my rear-view mirrors. I've looked around, and the stock mirrors are perhaps some of the more generous mirrors I've seen in awhile. In short, I think that bar-ends are my only solution.
So, I know this is an old topic (and I have read through the past threads), but I'm looking for recommendations for a really good set of bar-end mirrors. I hate the look of the Napoleons (no offense to those who love them), so I'm looking more at the round / oval ones.
As a cyclist, I know that cheap bar ends can vibrate around to the point of being useless. Therefore, I'm hoping to find something sturdy and vibration resistant.
Your recommendations would be much appreciated.

CRG bar end mirrors are probably what you want. However, they come with a price (a high one).
Bicycle shop. I spent $12.99 each for mine, and they work just fine ...

I have an extra set of Mirrcycles (or however you spell it) bar-ends from my recumbent bike that I've thrown on my motorcycle. I'm going for a long ride today, so I'll be able to test them out on the road.
I recently put in some heavy, vibration dampening bar ends that I just love. I would like to be able to find some bar-end mirrors that somehow encorporate a vibration dampener.
Any leads? :dunno_white:
Thanks,

It's difficult to use bicycle mirrors without vibration issues. Your best bet is the CRG, like Alpha said, but he's right about the price (cheapest are $44 each).

Yeah,
The bicycle mirrors were buzzing around pretty badly--I could still see behind me, but it was blurry.
Where can I get those mirrors for $44? A link would be appreciated--thanks!
When not on the GS500, I ride a Sun Sport AX--an upright, LWB recumbent.

Anyone have any experience with these CRG knock-offs I've found on e-bay? They look like they're made with the same materials as the CRGs, but you get two mirrors for less than the price of one CRG:
