It hates me.... it really does.
:cookoo:
Ok, we all remember when I changed my plugs right? One was tan-ish and the other (left cylinder) was black enough that someone thought it started its life that way.
So obviously there's something up. I think Mak (?) called it LCS (Left Cylinder Syndrome) So WTF do I do?
I haven't pulled the plugs yet, but I'd be willing to bet that it is the same thing happening all over again, about a month later... grrr...
Thing is my bike ran GREAT at high rpms when you're flogging it around like a maniac, but when you tried to ride sane it never really ran all that good... What's up with that?
With my riding style usually this doesn't pose a problem. (Think of it like this, "The bomb will only detonate after you set the front wheel down!" Me: "Not a problem." :icon_twisted: )
Any thoughts kids?

I have seen many posts regarding the left cylinder fouling plugs or running rich. So what is different about the left carb? It does pull the vaccuum for the tank petcock. I have not had a problem with this since I do not run the vaccuum system. I have it capped. Just an idea.
Sweet, time to start hacking shaZam! up.
Pull the vacuum line off the carb and put the petcock in Prime. If gas comes out of the line, the diaphragm is knackered.
If the diaphram is fubar can i still convert my petcock to non vaccuum?
Yes, just plug the vacume line from carb side and run petcock in prime position. when your parked for the day/night flip the valve over one way or another and it will stop the flow.(kinda like an OFF)
