Remember how he once HIT a cow, well here he is inside one, the "RED COW" at the cattlemarket in Sandwich UK.
No rules broken stricktly J2O (Non-Alcoholic)
Awesome! Is he there now? Didja meet him? I've been wondering where he was...
yes to both, he is off to Germany at 0500 hrs in the morning and all being well I will see him again next week. He is an ideal pillion passenger, sits still, says nothing !
he's making the rounds...when he was here I gave him a tour of Angeles Crest Highway as pillion. He looks well. Send him my regards...
Send him my best wishes for safe travels, no matter where they might lead him. Be safe, both of you!
x
 to ya both!

Hope he hits northern Cali next time! :thumb:
You guys smoke some killer weed over there or what ??? looks like a GIANT BUD hangin over the bar  :icon_mrgreen:
He's fine, he has just left and is on the way to Stanstead airport to fly to Germany to see an old high-school friend and will be back here for a day or two next week before flying home to US.
I think he is travelling around for the best reason of all, simply because he can.
The "Killer Weed" over the bar is a bough of hops, this is hop growing country and there is a tradition to deck pubs with it at harvest time. (When you sip your pint of "Old Speckled Hen" you feel closer to the product!
I see what I assume to be a newly installed "No Smoking" placard. How is the ban being received where you are, Cal?
Mk1inCali, The full ban starts next year sometime, some places have already enforced it and have experienced a slight drop in business volume. It has been common practice here for some years to have a "No smoking at the bar" policy in many places which I think is the case in the picture. Being someone who never started smoking but don't have a problem with smoke I have not taken a lot of notice but I think the general reaction is underwhelming.
Ironically the hops used to be used as they were thought to "absorb" cigarette smoke as well as have a pleasant smell of their own.
Here he is down at Ramsgate Harbour, in failing light....

Cal?
Am I correct in saying: (from left to right)
1 Heineken
2 Strongbow
3 Stella
4 Dunno this one but could it be something by Flowers, perhaps IPA?
5 Guinness (not extra cold)
6 John Smiths
7 Speckled Hen
8 Havent a clue on this one???
9 London Pride
Flowers, Speckled Hen and London pride are rare up here in Manc` but they are about if you know where to look and I have had a few good nights out on that London Pride :thumb:
How did you guys get over the language barrier?
x
Kerry and that dang "Handyman Club of America" jacket do get around.
Great shots Cal! Thanks for sharing! :thumb:
Sledge,
Thank goodness I left the other real ale pumps (4) to the left of the preasure taps out of the pic!
I think you are about right, number 8 is an IPA, I think it is a very localised one "Cobbs of Margate" probably. I agree about fullers London Pride, it's a better drink than Fullers other, supposedly better offering, XXK is it or something like that.
For the benefit of our transatlantic cousins, IPA = India or Imperial Pale Ale, a strong brew for the "Raj" in 19th and 20th centuries. Cheers hic! ooops!
edit....
Hey I just checked the original image, 4 is Flowers best bitter and 8 is Greene King IPA, the Cobbs must be out of pic.
