Hey guys,

Just curious if anyone knows where to get a workshop manual online. Also, as a proud 2001 GS500 owner how hard would you need to have the valves reshimmed?

Thanks in advance.

I've never found the workshop manual online, but if you go to the main page of this site (www.gstwin.com) you can click on the AMAZON link and order the Clymer for the GS.  I ordered mine about two months ago for free. :thumb:

I was able to sign up for an Amazon credit card (which I don't use since).  When i did that, they gave me a $30 credit towards online purchases on their site.  So I ordered the book (about $22) and about $8.50 in shipping charges for two day delivery.

When I got the bill, they did a really nice thing and dropped the balance since it was about $.50.   :)

http://www.gstwin.com/adjust_valves.htm has instructions as to how to adjust your valves.  I want to do this to my GS this coming winter.  According to lots of people here, it's a very simple process.

Welcome!
