 OUCH!!! My friggen wrist is killing me!
I don't know if it's the clutch, the typing, or the bass playing... But, damn this sucks.
Anyone else have problems with tendonitis? Any suggestions other than stop riding, typing, and playing bass? :icon_confused:
Yeha right its the typing thats doing it. ;)

Yeah... I think so too. I'd rather quit typing than riding. :icon_confused:
yeah i get it in my forearm real bad when i bowl. I normally take something like advil or anything generic that has a muscle relaxer in it before i start. It helps a lot when you know what aggervates you.

As a fellow maste...eh... nevermind.
I'd bet on the bass playing. I've known too many bass players who had it!
Check your playing position and see if you can modify it. Different neck angle, different strap height (if electric bass), slightly different thumb position, any variable you can think of. To stop the pain, you may have to give it a break for a couple of weeks. Google for some carpal tunnel exercises and those may help as well.
Finally, on the bike, get any weight off that wrist. I often put it on the gas tank for this very reason (when on the highway). Experiment.
Good luck, it sucks to hurt doing the things you like!
I've been clutchless shifting and only playing bass at practice... It helps some, but it still friggen hurts.
I think I might have to give a call to my local witch doctor for some acupokie in my wrist. :icon_confused:
Have you tried wearing a wrist brace? I know that's helped some...
Not yet... It's on my list of things to try... Which doesn't contain "Not Riding"
Although, it does contain "Get a scooter"
masterbate with the other hand for a while....LOL..
Stretch, Ice, Rest, Repeat.
If that doesn't work, go to the doc and get a scrip for iontophoresis. I had that done on my elbow and healed like MAGIC :)
Ice, Brace, shots, exersizes... OK... I think I'm going to the Dr. to get a brace and learn how to stretch it out correctly.... (Group Health == $10 co-pay :thumb:)
Then I'll call the witch doctor. :thumb:

I was hoping the lightning bolts on my jacket would do that too... But, I think I still need the gloves. :icon_rolleyes:
I get it in my foot, along with gout, nice mix! Anti-inflamatory drugs and pain killers do the biz, nullifies the tendonitis and makes you bad tempered and constipated...your choice.
Not the gout!!! :o
