Title: Repair manual for an '04 GS500F?
Post by: mdbHokie on September 19, 2006, 06:12:16 AM
I see the link off the main GStwin page to a manual for pre 2002 GS500s, is there anything updated for the 2002+ bikes?

Thanks,

Mike

i called cyimller (spell sue me) about some manuals on 04 -07 gs's

none will be made, no plans of it ever bing made.

but it just so happens that we could contact them and ask (pottioton (spell)   )
and then it would be considered for production,

how many would be interested? i can get teh e-mail for the editor for it

Red marks are spelling changes...  Yellow section is grammar...  I wasn't sure what you meant in the yellow section.

Don't feel bad, this site is better than the Clymer manual.  If I relied on Clymer, I'd never have gotten my carbs right.

I would be interested in 2002+ manual. I have a 04' model and if a newer manual doesn't come out then I'm going to see how much I can use from a 2002 version.

I have a 05 edition that is a factory repair manual. It covers from 90-05. It is in great condition. Let me know if you are interested and give me an offer. Ben.

I would much rather sell it for 26 +shipping.
But if no one takes my offer by noon Saturday, I will take your deal "the post whore".

I would buy it for $26.  I have an 06 and I wanted to get something newer than the Clymer.  I don't want to step on any toes of who posted first so let me know if your other deal doesn't go through.

Thanks
Graham
