I just got some money for a new helmet (i have a post somewhere about this) and I plan on getting a Scorpion if they still fit me as well as I remember. Just wondering if anyone is aware of any redesigns or new models expected in the Scorpion line anytime soon? I thought I heard something along these lines, but now I can't find anything about it. I will probably pick one up soon (most likely EXO400), but may wait if there will be any worthwhile changes.
New one out that I'd buy if I'd not all ready just purchased one a couple of months ago....

It's called The Crackhead
:icon_mrgreen:
Edit: this one's an EXO-700
I like all the helmets with graphics, but I haven't found one that I like enough that I'd like wearing it every day. So I'll be going with black, or flat black, still haven't decided. I save $10 that way too :icon_mrgreen:
I'm loving my EXO-400. The only update I know of is that they recently released the OEM transition visor. Responds to UVs (still 99.9% or whatever of UVA and UVB blocking) and gets dark when it's bright out, and gets clear when not bright. Not as dark as sunglasses, but plenty dark for me. I used to wear transitions lenses in my glasses, and recently switched to contacts, the visor keeps me happy. Of course, I wore it for about 2 weeks till I wrecked my bike, and haven't ridden since  The visor cost me like $55 at my local parts shop. Which isn't bad, since the fog city hyper optiks is like $30, and I was gonna buy a new visor to put it on, which would have been another $30 or so.

Sweet! I didn't know those were out already. Does it have the same anti-fog treatment as the clear and smoke visors?
I don't know.. I didn't read the package.. but it's never fogged up on me yet. And I got rid of that stupid breath guard thing too, it was always falling out and bugging the shaZam! out of me.

:o No shaZam!? Oh man... Trip to the moto shop coming up!
Haha, yeah, bought mine like 2 months ago... got the last one the shop had. LOVE it!
I don't even see those on scorpion's website, must be pretty new (well at least 2 months old i guess)
Does it get to "Dark Smoke" or "Light Smoke" darkness?
I totally want one for the fall/winter 'cause my sunglasses fog up in about 1 second when it's cold out.
Yeah... Not on Scorp's site... But, check it: Article (https://www.motoliberty.com/prod_detail.asp?Prod_ID=370&ImgId=1108)
good find
for Mandres:
QuoteThe visor also features the high quality everclear fog free coating.
And BTW... For anyone that has a scorp...
When your visor starts fogging... Use mild hand soap and your hand to lightly wash your visor... Dab off the excess water and let it dry (Don't get rough with it or wipe it too hard). It should make it all non-foggy again.
I wrecked in mine an exo400...please get one..I never felt my head hit...and yet when I looked inside :o

Melissa,
The photocromatic shield is our newest item.
There was a small "teaser" shipment that came in.
The photocromatic is basically a light adjusting shield. (similar to transition lenses in glasses.)
They change from a clear to a light smoke in approximately 10 seconds.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
The MSRP is $69.95
They should be more readily available within the next month, although you can get them of pre order as well.
