Title: need help
Post by: qjt18 on September 21, 2006, 05:47:47 PM
my bike wont start, i tried changeing the fuse, that didnt work. theres power to every thing, the battery is fully charged. when i hit the start buton it makes no sound at all. the only way i could get it to start was to bump start in in 3rd gear.

Check the wires going to the clutch switch/sensor, they can fall out, making the bike think the clutch is out when it's in. That's the most likely and simplest possiblity. Did the problem happen all of a sudden? Also, just for kicks, try it with the kickstand up.

Gear in N, Clutch all the way in, and kick stand up...  What happens?

Like ducati_nolan said, the switch connectors may be disconnected...  Your clutch has one and your kick-stand has one.  Make sure they're connected.
