Title: Seattle Area: Ride this weekend?
Post by: RVertigo on September 21, 2006, 06:39:05 PM
Weather report calls for clear skies...

Anyone want to ride?

I have a show Saturday night, so I can't do anything too late on Saturday (after 5:00pm) or too early on Sunday (before 11:00am).

PM, Post, or call me if you're down for a ride somewhere...

[edit]

Here's the ride:

I'm down. How bout a run ip 183 to 1431, over to 281 and a run through Inks Lake State Park on Park Road 4? We can head back 281 and run 1431 the opposite way to get home. Fairly short ride, but should be worth a shot.

That'd be cool...  Except, I have a show...  And I don't think I could spare the 6 days the round-trip would take. :icon_confused:

I've been watching the weather too.  Earlier in the week when it was raining, I called a buddy of mine to see about replacing my leaking gaskets.  He's picking my bike up tomorrow night and we're going to spend Saturday tearing into the engine at his garage.  I'm torn between seizing this opportunity to get help from a great mechanic in an incredible garage or trying to eek out the most of this rare Fall clear weather.  If I do ride, I think I might head out along Hwy 101 or head to Pt. Townsend.

I appreciate the invite though!  :thumb:

Sory guys, I have to work all day sunday, and I was working all day friday and today  yeah, working weekends sucks. I play alone when everyone else works and everyone else plays while I work. Hopefully I'll get a weekend off sometime.

In a couple months I'm hoping to have my work situation a little more normal, of course everyone else will have their bikes mothballed by then.
