Title: Quick Rear Shock Replacement Question
Post by: Chilly Willy on September 23, 2006, 12:33:42 AM
Can anyone please give me a list of rear shocks that would replace the stock one without too much modification?  Ideally, I'd like to take out the stock shock and just drop a better one in without griding, modifying, etc.

Thanks!

So, would this do the trick or not?

I never got a straight answer as to whether it would fit without modification (except for a place for the remote reservoir thing) and have seen it asked since.  I finally just got the Kat 600 shock.  So my advice is to gamble and buy it and let us know whether it fits.  :icon_mrgreen:

uhm... I guy I just bought from, accidentally sent me the Kat 750 instead of the Kat 600 shock...

MAYBE... I'll take my bike apart and see if it fits while I'm waiting on the right one to show up....

but.... I'm lazy...

but.... I can't ride until I get new rubber....

but there is that LAZY thing....
