Those are great.
Guess at your speed in each of those photos, if you can.
guessing, I'd say:
the bowl is ~70-80mph (its a heavily banked turn, thus the "bowl" moniker)
turn 4 is VERY tight, 1st gear so probably 35-45 mph
turn 2 is also a tight U-turn taken in 2nd so ~50mph
Thanks.
I need to get on a track. I know that people would be flying past me.
Pablo, mad props.
I'll have to mix it up with you sometime so I can get humbled.
(By the time I get around to it though it might actually be a race. :icon_mrgreen: )
thanks JD/CC...

here's the track layout. elev 2545 is T2, 2505 is T4, T8="the bowl". none of the infield lanes are used except for the S turns before the skid pad-VERY TIGHT. track runs clockwise.

its a very technical, bumpy course. speeds are slow. the whole course is a 2nd/3rd gear track. fastest speeds are at two straights: front straight if you stay on the throttle through T1 is about 115mph around T1 then fast heavy braking for T2. Back straight coming off bowl is also fast, thats about 115 also into the "chicane"/T9-10.
amazing :thumb:
Holding up D. Coyner...
From what I hear... Dustin is slow due to his size and easily passed.... but then again... thats according to some one who lives down in LA, that hosts BBQ Maintenance Days, and probably weighs 125lbs Dripping wet.
w00t! You always get great pics! :thumb:
how did you like the new repaved t4 pablo?.......it was pretty tight before and has a dip in the middle.....they made it kinda wide now and smooth which i think helps pick up speed going to the turns heading to the bowl....i felt i was going to drag my knee there with the GS.....for some reason i overshoot t3 a & B
teh new T4 is great-better flow, but this trackday they ran the OLD T4!

fast and slow are relative....
Dustin may be "slow" to someone...somewhere, but its likely another racer. Not me...I'm not that fast, not on street tires, not in this brain...
