Try finding one that's free online like at www.download.net or www.zdnet.com
And becareful. Asking something like this could get you banned or something. I'm sure John and others don't want the ass-hunters shutting this site down for some stupid reason. :thumb:
Nydus666,
I believe I have a copy of the surething CD-Labeler program at home. I'll take a look for it when I get home from work in the morning, around 10:00 EST, and if I find it, I'll upload it to my web host and PM you the link. I probably have a couple of other CD labeling programs laying around as well. If I find any, I'll upload them as well, and you can take your pick.
Edit: I will only upload any CD labeling programs I have (purchased with CD labelers) if they do not require serial numbers. Better to be safe than sorry.
Nydus666,
You have a PM.
You'll need a "stomper" anyway (the device that centers the label on the disc). So go buy one -- most come with software to do the labels.
Most of my labels I do in MS Word. Print a draft on plain paper, hold it up to the light to check the alignment of the label and then adjust or print the label.
Yeah, you gotta get one of those gismos, if the label is off centre, just slightly, spinning at the speed a CD does, it can develop a "wobble" and screw up the CD.
I dug out the disks and the "gizmos" that go with them and will be sending them to Nydus666 on the way home from work this morning, so he should be okay.
Do not put labels on DVDs unless they are the small labels that go in the center near the hole. The tracks on a DVD are much smaller than a CD, and the paper, even if perfectly centered, can cause enough wobble to make it unreadable because of the variations in paper thickness.
