Title: A Great Weekend Ride
Post by: Chilly Willy on September 30, 2006, 03:53:21 PM
Just got back from a wonderful Saturday ride out to Port Townsend, WA.  Took a side route via Port Hadlock & Port Ludlow and enjoyed the back roads and twisties.  It sure has been a beautiful Fall here in Western Washington.  Some pics:

Working on the weekend = bummer.  We should plan a ride together with the Seattle area members before the winter rain sets in.

We're shipping on Monday, so this should be the last weekend I work for a while.  :icon_mrgreen:

Now, if I was getting paid to be here I wouldn't Buddha Loves You.   Damn salary...

I'm find with riding in cold weather...  I have all the gear for it anyway. ;)

[edit]

So, you plan the next ride...   :icon_mrgreen:

Will do.  I'm available to ride either late afternoon Saturday (wife's working and I've got the kids) or any time on Sunday.  I'll try to map out something interesting.

Streets and trips is pretty good for that stuff...  Bug maps.google.com will work in a pinch.  :thumb:

What's the best anti-fog / rain-beading substance I could put on my visor?  I got caught in the rain for a bit today and had some fogging / rain build up issues.  I'm thinking something like RainX for car windshields, but made for plastic, not glass.  The only thing that I know of is an anti-fog gel I use on my goggles while swimming.

Fog city makes something. Just google fog-city, you'll find it. I think it's called cat-shaZam! or something... or maybe I'm on crack.. forgive me, went to bed at 6, got up at 9... not coherent right now.

Also... get a scorpion.. no fog issues with the stock visor, ever. My glasses used to fog up though. Man, THAT was a Buddha Loves You!
