Seeing that today was a beautiful sunny day & I'm starting to get over a throat infection, I wanted to go & put some shots through my new cap & ball revolver.
As I felt the best I have for the past week I thought why not take the bike & give it a run as well seeing that it's 60km's to the range.
I set off around 11am with the bike loaded up including a packed lunch from the wife, getting to range at about 10 to 12. The trip down was uneventful travelling along the main highway.
I had lunch & a few shots out of the revolver & time to head home.
Instead of heading home along the highway I decided head home the long way, around 150km's. This way home has alot more twisties, less traffic & a hell of a lot less cops. I was able to sit on around 120+ for the trip home. On a plus I was able to test out the new suspension with a bit of a load on the bike & was really impressed with it. I need some fine tuning as far as preload & rebound is concerned, but it's still 1000% better than it was.
Now it's time for a few beers & to warm up the barbie for dinner.
That sounds like a fine day indeed. :thumb:
Came ooh so close to going for a blast through the Adelaide hills today. Excellent day but as i was about to get the bike out, got a call from the nursing home saying dad wasn't well. Had to pick mum up & go & see him.
Public holiday here tomorrow so maybe then.
Of topic, bubba, you having trouble getting onto the TW site or is it just me?

Sounds like a great day, but Aussies are into some WEIRD kinky stuff for food. :icon_mrgreen:
