I'm trying to keep the center stand, and still gain volume and performance with another can. Anyone tackled this issue?

Only the kewl kids take off their center-stands...

I still have mine...  And I use it. :thumb:

BTW...  You can keep the center-stand with after-market setups...  You just have to figure out a way to keep it down a little to clear the chain.

Cheap-n-easy:  Split Tennis Ball around the middle bar of the center-stand

OR you can fab a new offset to keep it down.

the easy way.

with stand up mark were the stands center tube hits the shock.

now drill there. (on the stand center tube) with a drill bit size the allows the old rubber stoper to fit in tite.

now your done, it stops at the shock

Thanks! I've noticed my center stand has a stop welded on the exhaust can, If I bought the aftermarket system, I was afraid the centerstand would have no stop. I didn't think of the shock as a stop.
