whats up man, I'm in statesville, nc and I'm a new rider too, I actually took my bike out tonight for the first time. I've had it for a few months and had to work on it quite a bit, but i only have 500 bucks in it right now. Where are you located?

My brother lives in Boone. I am going down for a trip next weekend, weather providing. I used to live just off the Blue Ridge parkway - never with a bike. I am looking forward to the trip.

In WNC just a few miles from 28 A beutiful winding road with copycat turns left right, they are almost exactlly the same, it's a great ride. also the tail of the dragon, I'm sure you have all heard about it.

don't let me forget the parkway, it's fun but you have to 50-70 to get good leans in on turns. I like technical turns at 30-50 lower speeds but it feels faster.

I'll be ready to ride first warm day of 07'

I'm serious, there are a few of us that could all meet within a 2hr or so drive. We need to plan some sort of a ride. Weather should start to be in the ballpark in about 6 weeks or so. I got in 80 miles today, wasn't so bad at all.
