Title: Time going by
Post by: blue05twin on October 05, 2006, 11:37:17 PM
My wife has been gone a week now ok a week and 1 day.  To kill time I'm watching Smallville, done with season 1 and 2 didn't realize that I don't have season 3, back to bestbuy to get it.  I think that I should be done with season 3 and 4 by the middle of next week.

Hey did you know you can buy premade peanutbutter and jelly sandwhiches?  Uncrsutables!! from Smucker's.  They taste really good and all you have to do is take them out of the frezer and put them in the fridge till they thaw out and presto ready to serve.

SMALLVILLE IS F*CKING AWESOME!!!

I've got seasons 1-4, and I just have to find a good price on season 5, but my will power is weakening...  I might suck it up and spend the $50.

I hate those pbj sammiches...nothing better than homemade.

Here's some other things to do...

Get a torrent client and go to http://www.mrtwig.net/ and start watching all the southpark episodes.

Second, repeat the above.

Around Season 4 or 5, watch the movie.

Am I retarded or are we talking about your actual wife?  Where did your "wife" go?  I refer to my bike as my other girl friend, as do most folks, so I'm hoping we're talking about your real wife.  Sounds like it's time for some running / working out.  That's what I do when I have time away from my girl friends.  That and study.  I enjoy running and working out, studying is boring but I'm a retard, as I already mentioned, so it's needed.  TV is so mind numbing it's unreal.  I like Smallville, but I'll be damned if I'll watch an entire season of it EVER, let alone in a couple of days.  Alias on the other hand...

Am I the only one who finds this a bit sad? Your wife is gone and you have to resort to keeping-entertained-therapy like watching extended periods of (assumedly) trashy TV? Come on, don't you find more entertaining things to do with yourself? Is she running that much of your life that you are lost without her?

Markus is obviously not married.

Matter of fact, I was (technically still am). And arrived at a state quite similar to what b05t is describing. (Which, as I see it now, greatly conributed to the eventual dmise of the marriage. Which was initated by my wife looking for greener pastures.) I am making a point now of being a person without an eventual better half.

Yeah I agree with Mark... Smallville? come on, turn in your man card

Get you some beer, have a couple of buds drop by, get out the power tools, throw a little bit of BBQ and football in the mix and she'll be home before you can get the mess cleaned up

Smallville is a great show.

I guess you're not a Superman fan, huh?

yeah, I like superman.  I tried to watch it when it first came out, but its not superman... too much Dawson's Creek teeny drama thrown in.  Its not a terrible show, heck, I guess I'm getting old, I probably would have liked it when I was in college. :dunno_white:

I spend as much time with my wife and son as I possibly can.  I usually put in 59 hrs a week at work.  mon-fri 9am to 7pm off on sat and sun from 9am to 6pm.  So what time I do have I try and spend it with my son and wife.

I have been with my wife for going on 6 years now  :thumb:.

I did order more stuff for the bike so I should be in the garage next week working on something or other
