Title: I want some srinath bars bad!!!
Post by: flipboy on October 06, 2006, 06:38:42 PM
I almost broke down and bought some suburban machinery bars off their website today. I had to tell myself to be patient and wait for srinath so I can save about $100. I know there are a lot of other members out there that want these bars. I was thinking we get a list together so srinath can see how many people want them so he can tell whether it will be worth his time or not. I'll start off the list.

3. cafeboy - 06 gsf

I looked @ those, but they seem way too expensive! I just put on some bikeman drag bars, they have a 3.5"sweep to them. They are pretty nice, good position, better than stock or clipons. Plus they were only $9.02! Can't beat that!
Good luck!

Do you have any pics, and where did you get them? I'm a little hesitant to get the cheap bars because I'm afraid of it having a bad fit and hitting the tank or fairings at full lock. I also don't want something that will vibrate like crazy. I'd love to see some pics though. It's always nice to see what the other options are.

Better than clip on's ... hell yea ... cos the damn clip on's dont quite fit an 04+
Heck, the old 2 welds I made dont fit the 04 either, hence the whole effort to refab them.
Cool.

Flipboy, don't have any pics as of yet. Gotg them at ridenow.com they were 9.02 plus ship. They don't vibrate atall, but I've got they heavy stock barends. Great position, but you have to be careful when you set em up or the horn hits the tank @ full chicken. Now I just gotta fix that oil leak.....
