I know this was talked about a few months back and I still think its a good idea. I know its getting colder out too so I was thinking maybe just driving and hanging out would be fun. Perhaps getting a big timeshare cabin and going and seeing a few sites or indoor go-karts, skiing or something. When we're riding its hard to get to talk to people and socialize. I love riding but we all know this NE weather isnt going to hold out for much longer. Plus everyone could bring a toy to donate. I think it would be a fun weekend. Or if someone has a better idea please share!
I would like to do this. Skiing would be fun but then again I wouldn't mind hanging in a cabin and drinking!!!
That was my thought too :cheers: I'm not much of a skiier but i snowboard...a little lol...Id have to rent some gear but big deal...i took a look into some vacation rentals and we could easily pull a 14+ person cabin/house/etc for less than $100 a person/couple for a friday-sunday stay. Which is pretty cheap I think. These include full baths, pool tables, and games etc really nice places.
Im not an expert skiier at all! I hear that snow tubing is fun, too. We cld get drunk in the cabin and go snow tubing :thumb:. The cabin sounds awesome...where?
I was trying to centralize us a bit more which is why i suggested the catskills, but I'm up for anything if I'm taking my cage. Where's my CT/MA people...I'm gonna PM you all if you don't start having input :laugh:
If I'm free for whatever weekend you're planning you can count me in... skiing, go-karts, hiking, snowshoeing, whatever. I'd prefer a skiing trip, but for us east-coasters that would mean waiting a while until there's actually some snow on which to ski. :laugh:
Hunter Mountain in lower NY (in or near the Catskills I believe) is supposed to be pretty nice.
Skiing and drinking combine for a great weekend... just make sure it's not in the opposite order. :cheers:

Update is I'm looking to cabins but I'm gonna need a definite number pretty quick here so I can reserve..plus..people can't crap out on me at the last minute..cause if a bunch of us go and I rent a big ass cabin..I don't wanna be stuck with a $1000+ bill and have no one show up...

I might be really interested in this, I'd like a early December date personnally. Just let us know the date, if I say I will be there, I WILL be there. If you make it a pre-payment only, and non-refundable if someones a no show, thats fine with me. Whatever makes it easier and safer for the planning works for me. :thumb: I wouldn't want you to get stuck with a bill.
