Title: EXHAUSTED..
Post by: kneedragon88 on October 08, 2006, 10:01:28 PM
anyone know of any exhausts that fit for the gs500 besides the V & H.  I see others on bikes (yosh, wileyco, etc..) but i haven't been able to locate any.  custom fit? other model? anything ya got would help tremendously... thanks  :icon_razz:

Flange from seshadri_srinath wileyco from Ebay.

Mak makes a slip on also.

You can buy any pipe you like take it to a muffler shop and  they can make a " mid-pipe /flange " to fit it to your bike.

Yoshi used to make one sometimes see them on ebay.

V&H used to be made cans sometimes see them on ebay.

Jardine makes a full system that replaces headers and can.

It's been proven that a pipe/filter with the correctly adjusted jetting DOES add power.  Not much mind you, but when the base is ~40 hp, 4 more does make a difference.

Got any picks of the bike btw? (NM, checked out for photobucket)

I know I'll get in trouble for this but...I would give my left nut for that pipe!

Where are you located?

I'm not real interested in shipping it...if that would even be possible.  Pretty freaking big.

I paid $250 for it, and it's as clean when I bought it as it is now, so I'd like to make my money back on it.

Bike with stock pipe=$2000
Bike with Yosh/K&N/jet kit=$2200
