Title: DVD Video help.
Post by: annguyen1981 on October 11, 2006, 08:32:04 PM
How can I capture video clips from my builtin DVD drive?  I'd like to put some clips together into one, but I don't know what software I need to capture the DVD video from the drive.

I havent tried it but see if windows movie maker works for it.  Dont know if it will but I know you can hook your video camera up to your computer and use that program to edit it.  The windows movie maker comes standard if you have windows running your computer.

I haven't fully checked out DOOM9.org, but I need a utility that will convert DVD to something workable like MPEG or AVI.  I *have* MUVEE AUTOPRODUCER and it only accepts files like that.

I haven't ever used this but you could give it a try, don't know if it's what you're looking for. http://www.download.com/AimOne-Video-Converter/3003-2140_4-10278480.html?tag=toprated
