interesting in 2003 when it debuted
...and shortly after it debuted when Jay Leno was the only buyer.
I didn't look but given 2003 + Leno = Turbine bike?
Or is it that V10 that drag races?
no it's the tomahawk that doesn't do anything.
I thought it actually ran.
Maybe it was one of those mock up thingies powered by a lawnmower or wahtever that i saw video of.
no it starts up and runs...but that's it. Why run it? Daimler made it specifically to look at.
Yeah it's lacking enough meat to do anything but efficiently produce tire smoke.
the video link in the first post shows it being ridden, but not turning...

That's because to do that you go get a forklift to pick it up....

Leno owns one. Leno has one of everything.

Al gore owns one too...but I guess that's a given considering he invented them.
Tomahawk isn't a motorcycle, it's a concept quad. A bad, bad concept.
I've seen the Tomohawk turn. It doesn't turn much. The only thing it is good for is running it through first gear in a parking lot (if it even has more than one gear), turning it slowly around, and then doing the same thing back the other way.
Given a long straight path, do you think it would hit the speeds described in the video?

It's not really a concept in the sense that concept vehicles are supposed to be useable.
It is a showcase for the Viper engine. Advertising, nothing more. When purchased, the bike arrives without the complete drivetrain. Think of it as an artwork.
You're all wrong. It's not a quad...or a bike...or a roadster...it's an industrial strength hair dryer.
And I can't live without it!
..best movie ever..

Its been how many years...and I still get pissed when people pull the "he invented it" card.
-Turd.
How hypocritical. He invented cards, too.
