Guess what's coming to be a part of my stable next month...
I'll give you a few clues:
0-Its not the triumph I recently posted about
1-same number of cylinders as GS
2-could be considered a distant cousin to the GS
3-(http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k155/swannynz/Dsc06431.jpg)
SV...?
Where's that road at?
I believe it is actually in New Zealand if I remember correctly. Not me or the bike, just a cool example pic I found.
hahahahahaha I know what it is...not an SV...
sstupid new zealand...
TL1000S?
that would be super spiffy cool if that's what he were getting.:)
Only other thing I can think of is the Hyosung Comet 250
you're just not thinking ahrd enough (not that I thought really hard..."so bradley, what'd you get?)
Hyosung GT650.
nuh uh
If the picture was just a bit clearer I could say, but as is it's like:
"Guess what this out of focus bike is, knowing it's got two cylinders."
If it were a clear pic then we'd all know what it is...instead of just me.

clear enough?
Hyosung.
I'm not confirming or denying any information at this time.

I figured that someone would eventually look at that guy's album to get another pic. It will be a

Should be in the first week in November. I just couldn't pass it up with the price that they are clearing the remaining stock out at.
By the way...everyone should be very pleased with Mak's skills on the high mount setup. Now if he could only find his tools he might become productive.
...I found most of them...
If your seriously thinking about getting the Hysoung I would do a search on their product. I have read that people are having issues with them. And on top of that parts are in short supply for warranty work because it's a new bike.
:dunno_white: You might be getting the bike at a great price but if the quality is so bad that they are breaking and parts are not available to fix them. You might be better off spending a bit more for a better bike.
This is copy pasted from another msg board
Hello everyone, I own a hyosung GT 650 R motorcycle. I bought my bike from Best Value Motorsports in Columbus GA..... I am looking for people who, like me, have had problems with their bike to sign a petition so I can find out actually how many people are having problems with the Hyosung GT650 R... I am tired of not being able to ride my bran new bike. I have owned the bike for over 6 months and have only actually ridden it for 2.
On my GT650 I've had a blown engine, faulty gas tank and fuel gauge, bad alternator, replaced rear brakes twice, front brakes once, replaced broken blinker switch, missing bolts the first day I got it, headlights shorted and quit working twice, faulty regulator, and all this in under 5000 miles.... Two out of 3 dealerships I have visited including the one I purchased my bike from and millennium motorcycles in Stone Mountain have had moderated to bad customer service and my dealings with Hyosung directly in Norcross Georgia has steadily gotten worse since the first time I called. I have been broke down on the side of the road 7 times. Each time the bike was in the shop it took from 1 to 4 weeks to be fixed and of course each time it came back a little different than when I took it in. Scratches, missing bolts, bolts falling out because they weren't tightened enough etc....
I am in the United States but will take signatures from around the world. If you can translate this document into other languages please do so and distribute as you wish. Just be sure to leave my email so the signature will be sent to me. Also, I want to get a lawyer but cannot afford one so if anyone already has a lawyer please contact me and maybe our interests can work together.. I am also considering a class action suite against hyosung.. In Georgia I have 2 laws that may work for me. They are called the Georgia Uniform Commercial Code and the Georgia Fair Business Practices Act. I do not have a Lemon Law for motorcycles in Georgia but should be able to file under one or both of these two laws.
I want to have at least 200 signatures but am hopeing for 500 – 1000. Please send me an email with a description of the problems. Also please provide contact information so I can contact you about updates on how many signatures I have and what type of responses are coming.
If I get enough responses by email I will send a mass email to every person involved for an actual signature depending on how far this has to go. Please, if you are reading this and you have or know someone who has a hyosung and has had problems with the bike, customer service, or the dealer, please contact me at
Sad thing is I'm Korean
Several people do have problems with the bikes...but "several" is not a lot. The problem is that they're being idiots about it...kinda like the Buell Blast lemon guy. People's expectations are waaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy too high. You don't buy an Elantra and expect it to perform like a 328i...you shouldn't buy a Hyosung and expect Suzuki's quality off the bat.
The GT650 is far better than their previous bikes. Their previous seller was better than the one before. And so on. Their next seller will be better than the GT. Natural progression of things.
This is why if I ever got one I'd have a sleug of SV parts sourced right off the bat.
I am already well aware of these issues. If you dig a little further you will find out that the number of bad experiences is really not as large as some think. The two major issues that you have described have been attributed to faults that are eaily corrected. The first is the air injection system. This is not hard to defeat and is simply there as a cheap way to meet emissions standards. The second is due to venting on the tank. This is also easily corrected as there have been multiple write ups on it. A good majority of the other gripes in the post are dealer sourced not product sourced.
^yeah tht too...the presens of narcottic s in my ssytem preventtde me from maloing such vlaid points

also check out http://www.hyosungmotorsracing.com/ there is some great info on there

How 'bout a 325i? 318?
I drive my wife's like it's a 318... But, I broke a CV joint doing it. :icon_confused:
Maybe a 318 powerwise...but even then the feel is all wrong.
Not even a 318 in the power department.
It's a lot faster than I thought it would be though... It easily did triple-digits before I broke the CV Joint... One I get it fixed, I'm sure it will again.
People underestimate car motors...its hard to find a car that can't break the tripples.
I watched a stock Tiburon GT tach out. No THAT was badass.
My F.O.R.D. Exploder only does about 90. But, going that fast broke my speedo. :icon_confused:
okay dude you need to invest in some vehicles capable of exceeding the speed limit safely.
HA HA HA HA... I have two, well... Once I fix the Hyundai I will have two.
The GS does 90 (ind) easily... and it'll even hit 105 (ind) if I try hard enough.
dude....elantras weren't meant to travel that fast. IT's like a pigeon flying at MAch 2...it's just wrong.
I've seen adds for the UM motorcycles. It looks exactly like the GT650. It has never been mentioned here before, that's all.

I did it on I5 in the Cali dessert and in Rural Nevada... While my wife was sleeping. I got caught slowing down in NV... Good thing Speeding tickets aren't a moving violation in Rural NV. :icon_mrgreen:
Oh and... Both times it was so overloaded with stuff that the rear tires were inside the wheel-well. :o
dude get a bimmer...better rear suspension, can load it up, and they're meant to go that fast...

Those UM bikes are rebadged and repainted Hyosungs. This is also another benefit as it greatly expanded the support and parts availability.
Also in reply to the Mak and RVert side conversation- Just make sure that if you do get a bimmer it stays cleaner than Maks so that you have the aerodynamics to actually go that fast.......... ;)
