i didnt give a rats ass about him till about ohhh 8 years ago, that and the bee gees, but now wth , theyre both in my ipod, and my pc lolz

Sounds like you guys missed the '70's.  :laugh:   

Gordon Lightfoot was a radio staple throughout the decade.  If You Could Read My Mind...Sundown...Carefree Highway...Rainy Day People...Wreck of the EF...Daylight Katy...thoughtful/romantic poems sung in a warm, straightforward manner.   OK, you missed the '70's but you must be getting old too. :laugh:

ehh i grew up listening to GL, but never really "listened to him" btw im almost 32 now

I get chills everytime i listen to "Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald"  Last year was the 30th anniversery of the EF... Nov. 10, 1975.
