Title: Air filter help and Helping out an Aussie...
Post by: Anakist on October 23, 2006, 01:59:09 AM
Is anyone over that side of the pond interested in posting me a new air filter? The Stock one from a suzuki dealer is ~$53AUD, and I can import a K&N from Bikebandit for $86AUD but it is $20USD for the filter and $45USD for the shiping. A K&N from over here will be more than $100.

I think the smartest way to do it is to get a K&N or a Uni posted by a person not a company.

Also, which filter is better? I have heard bad things about K&N in cars, does the same apply for bikes? I am biased away from K&N because of the stories and the image K&N has over here.

Thanks.

James

Do you want the drop in filter or the lunchbox?

The drop in one.

zOU: It actually might have been the Uni drop in one for $20, not the K&N.
