Title: Lincense Plate Turn Signals Question
Post by: seaheifer on October 26, 2006, 09:50:32 PM
I was looking at purchasing a pair of these and on ebay they have them listed under a couple different bikes but with the same picture....a signal with 2 wires coming from it.  My question is do they have them listed under those bikes b/c they would be a more populer search?  I know the turn signals need a relay so if I bought these would they work fine on my bike (04F)? Here is a link for an example

they just wire into the stock signal circuit.  In my opinion, they're too small.

I can almost guarantee that daytime visiblity would be none existent with these particular lights. I would continue shopping....

I am, I was just curious if they had to be a specific light or simple just rewireing to the new lights.

Try the buell signals. If you do a search for turnsignals, you should have plenty of info to sort through  :thumb:

I have yet to see a set of plate lights that are visible.  I have plenty of friends who have tried this route, and I've almost rear-ended all of them while out on a group ride.  Dangerous as hell!

Go with the Buell signals.  They are awesome looking and uber bright.

This reminds me. I was behind this GXSR in my car and I almost rear ended him because he had those very small turn signals. I could barely see them.
