Kind interesting. I've never seen anything like it, except for the spike at the airport car rental spots.

A roadblock made of two automatic cylinders that pop out of the street are used to give passage to buses and assigned vehicles.
Easy enough. You just have a wireless transponder that identifies allowed vehicles. You have things like that in Europe where they're not afraid of technology.
Looked like a GS in the background of the first video :thumb:
I know a few US military bases use that kind of technology at their entrance / exit points. I've never seen it in use in the civilian world, however. Can you imagine how your average cell-phone toting, SUV driving soccer mom would react to those?

From the front wheel, I'd say it looks like a Honda Hawk
The second "accident" tripped the airbag, the passenger is holding his/her head from a nasty bump, good thing they check on the kid in the back.
It's definitely a Honda Hawk.
Here is a demonstration video

Holy Shite!!!
I didn't realize those things were so effective... I was sure that the pole would have been ripped right out of the ground...
Cool. I want one for the entrance to our neighborhood. That would stop the f^c&ing speeders.
