Does anybody here have any good ideas about what to do for a streetfighter, or a cooler looking headlight setup? Does anyone have anything relly differant, or nice that they could put a pic up of, or description. I have to do something this week!
I've always wanted the over-under headlamps off of an '82 Yamaha 750 Seca ( larger rectangular over smaller rectangular in a reverse stagger(reverse to the forks) ).
I have the HUGE 8 inch headlight from a SECA 650(early 80's)....love it and it's BRIGHT!!!
before this I had a couple of cheap driving lights one for low and one for high
My FJ1200 frankenbike had two PIAA projector beams and a flat driving light under it....looked like a smiley!!!!
I'm going to go the clear SV route with a Yellow city light bulb as an alt bulb. That way I can have my regular 80/80 plus the yellow on an outside ring and stay legal. It slips right behind the stock holder. I've had city lights on my veedubs for some time and think that it's under-used for 7" fighters.
The round 7 is fighter. Finding ways to make that yours will set you apart.
I use Sylvania's SilverStar H4 bulb. Much better than the stock bulb.

Too bad that wouldn't put out enough light to be effective and safe on the street. Twin 35 Watt bulbs? Not much more than the 20 Watt taillight bulb on the GS.
remember those?
