Hey all,
There's a guy locally that totalled his Kat 6 and is selling the lot for $380. I've asked him about parting out the rear wheel and shock and he wants me to make him an offer. I would be doing all the work of removing the pieces.
What should I offer him?
Chilly
$50. Don't pay any higher than $100 though. Make sure you get the rear brake rotor and ensure that the wheel bearings are in good condish.
What year bike are we talking about here though? The above info is for a 98+

Get the rear caliper hanger as well.
Never mind. The guy wants over $100 for the wheel and shock.

Only a 98+ kat is actually wider wheel. And OK it may be worth 100 ...
Cool.
Srinath.
Average gonig price on ebay for just the rim is about $100 and then the kat shock goes usually ends at $45ish.
I'd offer $150 for the shock, rotor, rim, caliper hanger and all the little parts that go to the wheel.
But if you don't mind waiting you might get a better price on ebay. Just might take a few months. And then you gotta add shipping on top of the ebay price.
wheel worth 100 easily!
rotor 50
caliper bracket...25-40
shock 50
spacers...10
100 bucks?
Snatch it, or, snatch it and I'll re-imburse you.
I kinda drew a blank there. I looked at my own FAQ post and saw that I paid $140 for the wheel and rotor from an 04 Kat6.

75 bucks with everything except the sprocket that I will use from my stock wheel according to Turds tut plus a very sticky 190 that I can't run  O0

Wanna trade ?
