Title: front end woes from lay-down
Post by: ledfingers on October 30, 2006, 08:06:11 PM
alright so, about a month ago now i laid my 91 gs500 down. now that i'm all better and the bike has had it's chance to sit and collect dust, i've been looking over the damage. as far as i can tell, the only thing that's preventing it getting back on the road is the front wheel. Now, i'm novice when it comes to bikes, so take that into consideration, but then the bars and forks are lined up straight, the wheel is pointing about 7-10 degrees to the left. is it possible that just the axel is bent and i could get by for now with just replacing that, rather than replacing the entire front end? driving a car is making me crazy and i need to get back to the bike, so any help you can offer is very much appretiated.
