dropped my bike after putting it on the side stand.
not to bad...scratched ignition cover, bar end weight moves
and broken tach.
Will I need to get a new tach or is it fixable? how?

Did you check to make sure it was really the tach? I thought I had a busted tach, but it turned out to be just the tach cable. If your tach is dead, I would suggest trying to find a used one rather than fixing it.
