Title: I got rid off my chain guard. Bad idea you think?

AS i said. i took off my chain guard cause it is ghey lookin, yah think its bad? i dont think so. but let me know in case

wont be too bad, especially if you're not very religious about lubing yoru chain. If you are, you might get stuff flung up onto the bike-depending on what you use to lube chain...this means more cleaning, thats all. Did yousee what the underside of that cg looks like? That stuff ends up on the rest of the bike...but the bike looks tuff without it.

Yea, the stock chain gaurd is kind of boring and the bike is probably better looking without it.

I apinted mine with some Dupli-color that I found at Wal-mart.  It matches my '01 paint really closely.  Better than the look of the plain, cheapp black plastic.

Plasti-Kote #1098, Midnight Blue Metallic is a pretty good match too. Available at auto parts stores and/or walmart I think.
