Title: Having an issue with aftermarket blinkers
Post by: jabberwoky on November 10, 2006, 07:21:30 PM
I installed a set of after markert blinkers.  I tested a single blinker before intalling the other 3 and it worked fine.  Now that all 4 are on there is a problem.  They will only blink when the engine is running.  When I hit the turn signal switch all 4 blink (like hazard lights) and the dash light does not come on.  I did a good job on the wiring and it is hooked up correctly.  Everything with the bike runs fine.  My guess is that the left control cluster is toast.  I dumped the bike a month back and the left side took a hit.  I just about got it all fixed and now this happens  :dunno_white:

LEDs.

For information on the general operation of your TS circuit and what LEDs will do to it, you might want to read  THIS FAQ (http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=24294.0).

You might want to read over THIS THREAD  (http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=31736.0) for one solution to the problem.

thanx for the help.  I will try the fix mentioned, if not I will get some filament bulb signals and try again.
