Title: chicago gear shop?
Post by: xenarcher on November 14, 2006, 03:57:38 PM
I need to go shopping for new protective gear. Can anyone recommend any shops in the Chicago area with a good selection of helmets, jackets, etc.?

How is that place?  I've heard it's pretty big and wanted to go there sometime to check out gear.  Most places in the midwest dont carry enough gear to try on and compare.

On a side note, I think my bike resided at CCC for a while between owners.

Unbelievably large.  I can't figure out how they can afford to heat the place.

Haha, that's what I like to hear... maybe the heating bill is why there are no other large cycle shops in the midwest
