For the PS3?
If you are which system are you getting the 20gig or the 60?
Excuse me for not being a huge gaming nerd...I'm a bit behind on the info...but... I played a PS3 at target 1.5 weeks ago. Are they in the stores, but not for sale yet? :dunno_white: That seems weird to me.

well i don't think that you are going to have a choice on the 20 or the 60 gig being that only the 60 gigers have been shipped to the states. And no, I am not going to camp for one for two days to spend 600 bucks on it, i will just get another ps2 and wait for the price to come down ...
Boo, i thought this was gonna be a camping thread. only time I ever camped out to buy something was for some Grateful Dead tickets...
PS3 does look pretty cool tho...
i will just get a flight attendant to pick one up out of the US for me. not standing in line that way.

" why the hell are you gonna askme this stuff if you know !? yes we are getting them . yes you can wait in line . yes they go on sale thur. going to fri. . i'm sick of hearing about the ps3 its not gonna be that great . the graphics are not much diffrent from the ps2 and the xbox360 i have acomputer i build computers .. i'll spend that 600 bucks on a computer that will do some better stuff then that ......the best thing about the ps3 is that it will play blueray ..you try and getyou a blue ray dvd player at best buy your looking to spend 800

buleray thats the only reason I would get one right now. But I'm not blueray disk are just too expensive, I was just wondering if people were going to camp out for one because I went to Bestbuy to buy some dvd's last night ( lois and clark 4th season! ). And there were signs telling people that if they started camping before 10 pm on wendesday ngiht then they would be escorted off the premisis.
on top of that I'm disappointed in the launch titles. I mean come on no ff? wtf?

You can spend $3000 on a computer and not get one that can do what a PS3 can do in terms of graphics. The bus speed is something like 8x that of PCI-Express.

Sadly, I still haven't touched an xbox360, even though I know several people who have them..
Ack!! Thats a very tempting offer. . . but there's not any games I want for it yet :laugh: altho you do get a free copy of taladega nights on blueray for free.

That's why we buy it, and then ebay it for a massive profit... use the proceeds to fix the GS!
You want to do it? I figure they sell for $600. Whatever we get from ebay we split after the $600.
So lets say we sell one for $1200. I get back the $600 and we split the other $600 50 / 50?
Hmm $300 is not much money to go through all that trouble. Who know's maybe it would sell for more. Either way let me know pm me if you really want to.
Hrmmm... it's tempting... and I don't have class until Friday afternoon.... $300 may not be much to you... but to me... man, that'd pay for a lot of repairs to the bike! :laugh:

I remember seeing an ebay auction posted on another forum the day that the Xbox 360 came out, it was already at $15,000 USD with a few hours to go :dunno_white:
I remember when the X Box came out and some guy had an ebay auction with the title of "X Box Box" and the auction stated VERY CLEARLY that it was only for the retail box that the X Box came in. He even had pictures of an empty X Box box. The winning bid was like $200 and I laughed my ass off. There were like 235,208 bids.
