Went to do my bike test today in Dublin.
Had done a pretest and everything went well. Instructor reckoned I should have no problems.
Quesions and roadsigns went well and the nerves were okay.
When we went out to the bike there was a large nail sticking into the rear tyre. I must have picked it up on the way to the test centre as I had checked the tyres this morning while cleaning the bike. :icon_lol:
He gave me 10 minutes to get it removed and repaired.
Went to a tyre place and fair play to them, they done it straight away.
Got back to test centre but he said I was too late and test was cancelled.
Still in shock and can't believe the timing for this to happen.
What a day
Ouch! Ten minutes is barely enough if you have a patch kit at hand. Tyres tend to pick up nails at the most in convinient moment: when they were brand new, in the middle of nowhere etc... :dunno_white:
