MiniDV from Panasonic, and it's called GS500... really.

Does it mean anything? :dunno_white: :dunno_white:
I get that camera in Ebay searches a lot if I don't specify Ebay Motors.
That is a fantastic camera. Granted, it's about 2 model years behind current, possibly 3, but it's still a great camera. If I had to pick a Mini-DV camcorder, that would be it. (For the record, I used to sell electronics)
Have fun with it!
ehh.. get a cannon...
Cannon has the best support and GREAT products :thumb:
I graduated from the Art Institure of Pittsburgh and have shot on a cannon every day for the past 7 years :thumb:

I know I'm going to get flamed for this, but I can't resist....
You've been looking at your camera for 7 years, and you still don't know that it's spelled Canon? :icon_mrgreen: ;)

Don't listen to Scott, he's a rabid fan-boy on the
Canon train. Canon makes some great cameras, I won't argue that. But the 3CCD Panasonic puts the lower to mid end Canon camcorders to shame. Honestly, it even looks nice than the Eluras. Trust me, I sold both, and my manager owned both.
