Only problem I see is it's a bit too deep.  Good shot.

good start with the wasp however it would ahve been good if the depth of field was a little larger so his head was in focus.

What do you two mean by depth?  I do see that the head of the wasp isn't in focus, but I wouldn't know how to fix that except to move the aim over to the right a bit...

Depth of field is not so much about where you aim your lens An.  It has to do with apeture, distance to subject, and shutter speed.  Check out the book Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson.  It's the best book for beginning and intermediate photographers I've ever read.

thanks guys, the wasp kept flying away and was twitching alot and stuff so it was hard to get a good pic but it has a narrow focus range on macro so I needs to practice.

Awesome pics!  What kind of a macro lens did you use?

well I have a sony cyber shot, its the DSC-W50. Not really for serious photography but it works well, but It has a macro button, I dont have any lenses for it.  I was thinking about the polarized lense or the telescopic because it zooms 5x at most but then I got more stuff to carry.

Wow, that's impressive detail and clarity.  Yeah, carrying around a lot of different lenses gets pretty old fast (they're heavy!).
