Does anyone know any good sites where i can find some icon, or other motorcycle gear tee shirts? BTW. GSTwin should have shirts.
It would be nice if GStwin had T-shirts, but I don't see it happening. Several things would need to change first. If someone wanted to go independent with the t-shirts and sell them here, that might work. The admins might frown on that tho.

I would like to see t-shirts sold. I'd sure as heck buy one. I've got t-shirts from the other motorcycle forums I post on. I'd like to see it done here too. Anyone wanna work together and make it happen?

Given your past...this made me giggle a little. You flipped your shaZam! over a sticker...I can't imagine what mayhem would ensue if a whole
t-shirt came from Pandy and not John.

we talked about this years ago and I came up with a simple design. maybe I'll upload it to cafepress and sell it at no profit...I, for sure, dont want to go to the trouble to have them printed, take orders, ship them, etc...I do enough already.
I'll try to find the old design I did as a starting point. you all seem to be pretty photoshop proficient so I assume you'd be able to do something tasteful and simple...suggesting the nature of the bike. My design was simple and took the tank picture of the gstwin.com home page as its imagery.

Real men don't giggle. They laugh out loud. I haven't giggled since I was 8 years old. That's about the time I started drinking beer, gambling, and working a full time job at the steel mill.

I giggle when I drink beer.
Alternatively:
Real men don't Buddha Loves You like little girls when their sticker doesn't come from the right person.
I was going to suggest cafepress too. It's super easy and everybody is generally pleased with their service.

I drink tequila. Beer is for wimps. :flipoff:
I think the t-shirts should come from scratch this time....just to throw everyone off... :icon_twisted: ;)
There is a company that is called CafePress that does t-shirts, hats, mugs, just about anything you want. You submit a design and they print them out on demand in any quantity, even one. I have used them before for other things and they do a pretty good job. They are a web-based company so just add the w's and the .com and you are there. It's free to upload the design and you set the price. Obviously they get a portion of the proceeds, but it's something to look into anyways. I would buy one.....

not mean to f%$k with ya jarrett, but that last post sounds like OMW REincarnate
I can understand why admins would not want to sell things like shirts. On the other hand, I would buy a $10-15 shirt with the GSTwins label and a picture, and I would buy one even faster if I knew a few dollars went towards hosting the site. Since GSTwins already gets money from selling manuals on Amazon, I don't think shirts would be excessive.
Seriously, I'm always proud to wear a nice looking motorcycle shirt, and if it was helping host the site it would make me very very happy. Please consider it John.
I've got a buddy that owns a screen print shop... Now I don't know what I'm jumping into but I'm sure I could get shirts made and what not. Then I guess I'd be the order taker and the shipping guy .....
If we could come to a agreement on what they would look like I'd have something to work with. Im sure he has a min order. But pablo or some other mod will need to contact me before I run out and do all that.... Its just an offer.
The whole profit thing is what I was talking about. More than likely most of us are willing to pay between 10 and 20 bux for a nice shirt or hoodie, or even a coffee mug for us caffiene nuts. The company gets part of the proceeds and since you set the price for things, you can make a portion of them as well. It's a good deal in my book. I also have a good friend that is a graphic artist at a print shop. I get killer discounts on artwork. They do awesome work as well.
Another 2 cents. I will be wanting change back soon :thumb:.....

The check will be in the mail soon! :thumb:
a cafepress shirt, without authors mark up is already near/roughly $17! THAT goes to cafepress.
With Cafepress you're paying for a whole lot of stuff that a GSTwins shirt doesn't need. All it would really take is an admin making up a design, getting an approximate number, getting a quote from a screener and then marking it up for postage and donation. When I've gotten shirts made in the past its cost less than $10 a shirt. If I had the time and money I'd even volunteer to run it. If no one arranges this in the next year or so, when I'm settled into life somewhere I'll give it a try.
