the temp is really dropping out here in the South so I figured my jeans just arnt going to cut it for cold weather riding. I stopped by a sporting goods store and found some snow pants, dunno why they had them because it doesnt snow here. Anyway, on my ride back it was about 50 degrees and I COULDNT FEEL THE SLIGHTEST DRAFT!!! My legs were sooo toasty, I even took it up to 100 and still perfect. My god I wish I had found these sooner. Before I'd wear fleece long johns under my jeans, this is 40X better.
Thank you snow pants!!!!

50 Degrees!! On man I am jealous. I think it was 22 yesterday morning..
Regards
Graham
50? Hell, that's T-shirt weather! :)
10 and dropping rapidly here.
Might give it a try though, along w/ heated pants. My leathers are fully perf'd. Cooooold!
50 but getting down to 28 later tonight, a front just came thru. For the Gulf Coast anything in the teens or low 20's is about as cold as it gets.

Yeah, if they work for going down a hill at 30mph in subzero temps, why not on the bike above freezing? I've used them before on the bike they do keep you warm.
PS, it was -2*F here yesterday morning with a -15* or so windchill
Dude, this morning was 23.. with windchill it was 11
its 25 right now here. with wind chill is in the teens. It snowed last night. I would pay for a 50 degree day so i could take Brandi out for one more ride ....

If it's downtown or if you come downtown, just stay in the skyways, you never have to go outside for anything!
And there's always the off chance of a heat wave... it was up to 40 when I moved here in January last year. I'm hoping for the same when I move again next month
We are staying at the Days Inn near the University, I have no idea how close that is to anything. I know the ladies want to head to the Mall of America and that is 'south'.
Hmm... not downtown, but pretty close. I don't know the U of M area very well, but Coll0412 probably does. Mall of America is probably a 15-20 min drive south. Impressive to see once or twice but I'd rather go shopping somewhere else.
