they get all the cool bikes!
a naked GSX-R 600?
like 200 different naked bandits?
the GSX1400FE?
why dont we get any of these bikes in america!? of course we get a better selection of cruisers (C90, S83, S50, all they get over there is the C50, M50, and M109)
more companies need to start bringing good naked bikes stateside.
if i ever end up getting a sportbike, which i probably will, i want it naked. but the selection here in the states really does suck!
You gave the world the plague of the street-hogging SUVs. So the world retaliates by not letting you have the cool bikes. ;)
Yeah, I've noticed that, and it is not just Suzuki we get a lot more bikes from the official importers and there is still what we call the "grey" imports that some dealers form groups to do and some intrepid souls do personal imports as well, I suppose like all business it's simply supply and demand.
Conole yourself by thinking about the things you get and we don't, all I can think of is Baseball and Nascar (thank the lord!) One of the things happening in the world today is that we are all getting more like each other, same shops, eating houses, brand names etc which has some advantages but takes a lot away too.
What is that big Yamaha that the sell in England that you can't get here? It was supposed to replace the V-Max? Can anybody thing of that? Giant v-twin motor and wild naked styling?

The GSR600 does look quite pretty, but there are only two problems I see with it. First, it's 400 pounds dry! That's friggin heavy. Second, it looks like it has cheapo forks, not the nicer inverted forks from the GSX-R. Given Suzuki's history of skimping on the suspension of the low end bikes (GS, SV), I would imagine that would need to go right away.
Cal they get cheap petrol - very cheap petrol

Yes! Yes! That is it!
The MT-01 offers alternative Torque Sports performance. It combines a monumental 1,670 cc V-twin producing shuddering low-down torque with a cutting-edge sports chassis for an enthralling mix of arm-wrenching power and sports bike handling that works so well, you''ll wonder why no one has done it before. MT-01 –– ride it and be amazed.
