Title: bandit 600s
Post by: ledfingers on December 18, 2006, 04:12:59 AM
I'm wanting to step up from the gs, i love suzukis, and i've seen quite a few bandit 600's from the late 90's for fairly inexpensive. what are my trusted gstwiner's opinions of this bike? i like the look of the "s" models...

good bike. based on older gsxr motor. the bikes are bulletproof. but most that get the 600 regret not just getting the b12 because they are so cheap.
check out maximum-suzuki.com. its a bandit website.

Great bikes that will suit just about any needs.  Like previously stated the 12 isn't normally much more than a 6.  Personally I think that they feel pretty top heavy but are extremely comfortable.  There is actually a 98 600 around here with 3700 miles for 1400 right now.

Is the insurance generally comparable to the GS (I know, it depends on a lot of factors, but still...), or is it closer to a GSX-R?
