KARE-TV Video Report
By KARE-TV Minneapolis
MIAMI, FL -- A 55-year old Miami woman is in stable condition after a bizarre accident that left her trapped down a manhole.
Rachel Rodriguez was riding her daughter's motor scooter to a convenience store last (Tuesday) night when she apparently lost control of it.
The scooter then went through a barricaded construction area and into a 12-foot deep, open manhole. The scooter, with Rodriguez fell about six feet down the hole before it got wedged in the storm drain.
Miami rescue crews used a fire truck ladder and rope to pull the woman, then
the scooter, out of the manhole.
mehehehe... I guess thats why you don't give scooter riders the motorcycle hand wave, cause you don't want them to loose it.
