Title: This is a sad goodbye....
Post by: jpmire on December 29, 2006, 06:45:43 AM
Well ladies and gents I must now say good bye :cry:Yesterday I got rid of the gs500f for good. My wife made me feel guilty because it got to the point where I really did not want her to ride with me. Due to the discomfort that I was in. This bike really is not made for two people. I traded the bike for a 2007 kawasaki vulcan 900 custom. Thanks for the help that all of you gave me. I learned alot.

ban Pablo

Indywar - you may be built like a 2X4 but this is the smartest thing I've ever heard ... Yea we ban Peetey Pablo. Now like he;s an admin, so he should ban himself.

Now Jpmire 900 vulcan eh ... does it have belt drive ???
Cool.
Srinath.

sigh.. I agree with you the GS is not the best for two riders, although this also brings up a good point. I am most happy that I bought a used GS500 because there is no point in selling it!    so go pick yourself up a used gs for about a grand and have you two motorcycles. although after you start collecting a few more cars and a few more bikes you start to need to buy new land... lol

You don't have to go. Shoot, I've never even ridden a GS500. I bought a new GS450ST back in 1980, and wish I still had it. I picked the GS500 as a great first street bike for my nephew, and he loves it. I am playing with the idea of getting a new GS500F as my 21st motorcycle over the 45 years of riding I've done.
All this, and they still let me come in here and visit whenever I want-which is about every day.
