Title: Motorcycles: obsolete by 2008

Well... its a stretch. Made by Bombardier, works like a Segway, runs on hydrogen fuel cell, carries 2. Might be fast(er) as electric engines can be pretty quick. 320 lbs.

Actually I just wanted to start a thread where people posted cool pics of funky stuff or just cool bikes.

It doesn't.  The model in the pic is set up for 1.  I like it, but it looks scary.  I don't see a market for that thing anytime soon.  I'd like to see some more info on it.

if I ever see someone riding it I will kick them off it or hit them with my car!  that thing is ghey!

what the heck are these people thinking!!! and hydrogen takes more energy to create than you get out of it so its a worthless fuel source besides the fact that it uses water and is clean burning , we still have to use other energy sources to create hydrogen so in reality you cancel it all out.

Agreed, take it to the farm people, that's what it's for.

BTW I wouldn't ride the egg-concept bike it looks retarded. And if I see it on the road I will cause an accident. Not because I'd want to, because I'd either laugh so hard I'd lose control of the vehicle or be blinded by its' ugliness.

I'd totally ride that crazy-ass unicycle!  Several of the other concept bikes Jah posted are SWEEEEEEET!  I really like this one:

A little too close to Mr Garrisson's design from SouthPark for me.

I don't see the benefit of losing a wheel.  Is there any good reason for that design element?

I would agree that hydrogen is not the best fuel source for the future, but people (like my wife) are working diligently to develop reactors to produce hydrogen gas using sunlight instead of electrolysis of water.  Think of a solar cell, but one that produces hydrogen instead of electricity.

Cause it's 100% BADASS. Useful or not, if somebody offered me a ride on the concept, I'd hit it as soon as they treated me for the ensuing glee-induced stroke.

now, riding the unicycle would that mean youd have to relearn how to ride it ( a motorcycle), or think of it this way, its not like it would be the same if one went from riding a bicycle to riding a unicycle :thumb:

well I had originally intended this thread to have some cool weird pictures of motorcycles on it. Dont even have to be weird motorcycles, just ones other than the GS500, could be anything.

I don't think it's particularly sexy or cool, but as close to mass production as any of the others so far...

you like the new gsxr muffler location they are almost as sleek as the buells now. the new gsxr really attracted me  when I went to the dealer.

Yeah, it lowers the center of gravity also. People either seem to love or hate the buell. I like em, most harley rider would get true harley 1st so they attract a different rider.
The gsxr with the same exhaust is hot. Gotta love the moto gp style!
My 2 cents on the the little trist before, listen, this is a open forum, but come on keep the personal crap out! Its has a word "ego", lose it!
Has anyone seen the ncr ducati's in the new motor cyclist? I'll see if I can find a link....nice!  Its a redone sport classic!

I was just thinking looking at the buell's and thinking about the new Gixxers. We all have some problems warming out tyres up in the cold weather and cold tires = bad bad situations. And sometimes in the rain and cold its almost impossible to get the tyres to a nice temperature. So wouldn't it be nice if someone came up with a way to utilise the heat from the exhaust to warm the tyres up. Im not sure how it could work, i first thought mounting the exhaust underneath the bike and directing fumes towards the wheel but it think this must be fraught with danger (oil in the exhaust, possible unburnt fuel) don't want any burned tyres. Then underseat exhausts been mounted close to the wheel in such a way to heat it slightly. All sorts of ideas i just thought it would be cool to utilise all that lost heat and put it to some good.
