Title: To avoid winterizing my gs how often should it be ridden?
Post by: coolboarder on January 13, 2007, 10:45:02 AM
I plan on taking the battery out and .. trickle charging.  Then using some Seafoam, but how often should it be ridden to not do much else?

I already cleaned the carbs and it is in a garage (unheated).

thanks,

If you have Seafoam in the Tank I wouldn't really worry.Just Keep you Battery Charged and Fire it up every week or so.Do keep your Tank topped up to keep water from Condensing.

Every 3-4 weeks should be fine.
Put some Sta-Bil to keep the gas from turning.
Keep the tank as full as practical.
Move the bike so the tires don't develop flat spots.
You can put 5 more lbs of pressure in the tires.
