Could be any of these
1.  You need new tires.  Check the thread
2.  Let the tires warm up before riding hard.
3.  suspension not set up properly.
4.  Too much lean angle.  Get the bike more upright.
5.  If you're asking why you're slipping, you probably shouldn't be riding that hard yet.  Take it easy and have fun.

could be your tires arent meant to be ridden that hard/that leaned over. You need sticky tires (and warm them up first) to do that...

Probably just poor throttle control.

a legit question I think.

YOU:
choppy throttle control. (no smooth roll-on throughout the turn)
adjusting your body while leaned over.
not holding a smooth line. (too much steering adjustment/ too tight on grips)

TIRES:
tires not warm enough.
tires not scrubbed in all the way.
tires are crappy.

THE BIKE:
bad suspension setup.
big dip in the powerband from improper rejetting.
leaky forks/ oil levels in the forks dont match.
Steering head & axel bolts not torqued properly.

THE ROAD:
roundabouts are generally off-camber turns.
sand, gravel, oil- it's there even if you cant see it.

these are all I can think of right now, but there are plenty more.

my guess is it's a combination of a few of these factors; the biggest being the top 3, under YOU. Not to make any offense, but you'll be very suprised how much more grip you get with smooth throttle control, setting up your body before the turn, and actually looking through the turn and keeping a line, which will help you be smoother and make less steering adjustments. Even a small steering adjustment can interrupt the throttle, upset the suspension, and cause you to lose grip at the wheels.

like in nascar .. whens thiers a caution they swerve back and forth to keep thier tires warm ... better traction. and under a caution thier not going that fast to keep them as warm as they are when thier doing 198.
