lol nerd :flipoff: I get the Starcraft: Broodwar itch and sometimes play for months at a time with my close friends.
It could be worse though. You could be addicted to WoW :icon_rolleyes: :icon_rolleyes:
My brother in law is officially beyond hope with WoW. I have seen first-hand the life-destroying power of that game, and I won't be getting into it anytime soon
I gave it up a few years ago, but lately I'm playing more WC3 since I started goofing around with the level editor. That thing is awesome. Plus it is the most sophisticated game that I can run on my AMD Athalon 750 with a bitchin' Voodoo4 video board. :icon_rolleyes: I think trying to run WoW would cause my PC to melt into a puddle of slag.
It just seems that nobody else plays old WC3 anymore
I should make a map with custom heroes modeled after GS mods or something... that could be fun. I can see it now, Pablo casting "kneedrag" level 3; Srinath's bars - artifact that gives +10 agility, and of course, Pandy playing for the PURPLE team
You'd be surprised what will run WoW. I installed the 10 day trial just to play with some friends. I've got a Toshiba laptop running an Intel Single Core mobile processor at 1.86 GHz, 512mb RAM, and an integrated 128mb video card, and it runs fine. Granted, I lag a tiny bit when I go into the huge areas with hundreds of players.. but 99.9% of the time, it runs great.
Holy cow, did you try to get on WoW yesterday? Noob overload!!! Damn expansion...
